I received a nice Christmas cactus as a gist last week. It was in full red bloom. So, I guess we're impatient out here too.

Wow, I have never seen that color on a Christmas Cactus before.

Maybe it's a Thanksgiving Cactus!

It's always like that... every year sooner... just look around you... Your Christmas cactus just saw all the lights around him and said : well, it's time to go! It's already Christmas! Let's bloom!

It's the same where I live... in small country, Slovenia, somewhere in Europe...

Every once in a while, my Christmas cacti bloom twice in a year. I think they just bloom when the weather cools.

Mine are blooming now.
