Just wanted to let you know that my book club chose Assassination Vacation for our April book. We are reading 1984 in March so we wanted to follow it with something more humorous. Looking forward to it!
Come back Spring! Even with this crazy weather, some of my tulips have sprouted. Your blue planter itself is gorgeous, and is that a brick patio? *sigh* I love brick patios and walkways. Wonder what little Patchouli will think of all the Spring flowers? and bees? and ladybugs? :-)
Pam ... it's a gorgeous day today where I live. I have been horrible at planting, keeping plants, planting things, whatnot. I'm making a resolution to do more this season, both inside and out. I want mums that look like that, and a lovely moon garden. I also want more greenery around my house. I'm doin it!!! These photos have inspired me!

In a couple of months they will be back...I'll sit here and sigh and think about my "Ode to Spring" = )
awwww... so sad
i can't wait for Spring to spring!
There is a certain charm to this, you know?
How sad, that is why I love spring so much. Bring on the flowers and blooms.......
All of my planters look like this right now. I can't wait for spring!
Wow - they sure were beautiful "then"!

They're both kind of beautiful.
I guess it's just me, the but the dry and lifeless one just makes me think that spring WILL come.
I can't even see my mums beneath the 4 foot snowbank in my front yard. Even your "now" mums look better than snow!

Oh, poor mums.
Of course, if you lived in Canada, the frost would have shattered that nice planter... winter is so cruel.
Kat - I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't trim them back.
Terri - Great, I can't wait to hear what you think about it.
Katherine - I know, I am so ready for spring.
Queenie - I know, if we can't have snow days, then I am finished with winter.
Chellebelle - that's what I think, too.
Kathy - I'm ready for some colorful blooms.
Pam - I think we have an agreement, we are all ready for spring here.
Shanster - I know, I liked them because they looked like daisies.
Paula - our forsythia is starting to bloom.
Tater - I like both looks, too.
Hip - I wouldn't mind a little snow...I could use another snow day.
Sweetpea - I'm glad that I inspired you, but don't be blaming me when you're grumbling while weeding!
Natashya - I lost a lot of pots here this winter too.
Yeah, I can feel your sorrow over this. But at least you and Smudge have your chives; Thor and I have snow.
wow!
Aw ... I miss my deck flowers.
My mums look the same way. Sad but true!
