I just love geraniums. My mother overwinters them in her house. She has some really nice big ones that she leaves inside. They are beautiful. I just love summer.
I have chosen geraniums and nasturtiums for my wedding flowers, and friends and family are growing them now for the September event - we'll just artfully arrange them around the outdoor area where the ceremony will be, and then bring them into the room for the reception. The best part is that we can keep and propagate from the plants afterwards!
Do you happen to know what variety is on your porch?

I totally agree!
beautifulmous!
So Cute! If I had steps I would do that!
I really like the white around the leaves. I don't see that variety around here much.
How pretty!!
They look so pretty.
I want your geraniums. I also want your porch. Hmmm ... care to swap houses? Patchouli might like patrolling the new territory of my yard!

Color on a front porch is a great thing. Sadly, my front step is only 4" high, so I don't get much of a showing from it.
pretty :)
I agree with you. If we'd stop having frost (it's almost the end of May for goodness sake), I'd have some of those on my porch too.
I agree! I love my Geraniums and always have new cuttings potted up... they're so versatile!
I love how you can take even the tiniest sprig, pot it up... and a few months later you have a thriving little plant!
And the different smells? Heavenly!

Marsha - they are Wilhelm Langguth. This is my first year growing them, and I love them.
And are you taking cuttings? ;-)
More of these gorgeous plants can only be a good thing!
