Yes, we grow grass for our kitty cats inside. It's a way for them to get their greens in the winter. As you can see Smudge finds it irrestible.
What you can't see, is that I just let him in. From the great outdoors. Where it is a balmy 82 degrees and the grass is high with all this rain. But still, the first thing Smudge does is go straight for this.
I used to think he was smart.
This will be my entry for this week's Weekend Cat Blogging hosted by Sir Tristan Tabbycat Longtail!

What a gorgeous kitty! And I love the name Smudge...fits to a tee :) Thanks for visiting me, I'm enjoying your blog...
Ha! That's like Willy (the dog) going for the toilet when there is a HUGE water bowl in the laundry room!
Go figure.
Smudge is such a pretty cat. I am going to tag you for a photo tag.
You have been tagged. If you would care to play, open the sixth folder of my photos and choose the sixth photo, post it on your blog and tell something about it. Then select 6 other bloggers to tag.
what a pretty kitty!
Smudge is gorgeous.
You're lucky that he eats the grass. How would you get your lawnmower up on the windowsill to mow it?
Have a great weekend ;-)
I never have luck growing my own cat grass. Buying it and keeping it alive for a couple weeks is as good as it gets for me... Maybe the inside grass is cooler, therefore, more appealing?
Well, we all know that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence... so why not the window?
Smudge may be smarter than you think. No dogs have peed on it, no dust and dirt and potential bird poopies...
Yep, I think Smudge is one smart - and gorgeous - kitty!
I love your cat posts. Smudge is just beautiful!
I used to grow grass for my cat, too. Everyone thought I was nuts. I may be, but Smudge proves I was right!
Who are we to question? No telling what we'll be doing when we're Smudge's age!:-)
Mmmm ... itty salad bar! :-)
I visit another blog with a cat named Smudge - so cute!
What fun your cat posts are- and Smudge poses so nicely for you.
I can't believe I missed this yesterday...I always look for your Smudge antics on Saturday. He is quite the character! Take care ~Natalie
What great kitty pictures. Your kitty is very lucky to have you grow grass for him. Makes me really miss my cats.
