Our county is big on growing strawberries and they are in abundance right now. Did you grow these? I have not tried to grow any of them.

Hey Pam, I'm a HUGE strawberry lover. Gigi made this fabulous strawberry cake that came from Robin's blog. I'm planning on trying it in a 9x13. Here's the link if you want to give it a try. Blessings, SusanD

Heehee that is why I love May also! That, and asparagus. I love how on-sale they are.

Oh man, I want to live in your neck of the woods. It's RAINING here again today. Time to go build an ark ... I'll be sure to load more than just two strawberries!

We won't get our strawberries until June...I can't wait!

I'd be happy with a nice leaf, being from Wisconsin, but being in Arizona, and all the native plants beginning to turn brown for the summer (no rain - it is the desert after all).

The strawberries are a nice reminder of what spring should be. Thanks!

Our strawberries come up here next month! Yumm. It's like the beginning of a wonderful wealth of fruits and vegetables.

I just made a batch of strawberry freezer jam. I'm planning at least one more batch, if I don't end up eating them first :-)
