Our peonies aren't blooming yet. I think they may be delayed a bit because we've had such cold, gawdawful weather here. I'm so glad Smudge approves of them.
Lovely photos of the Peonies. My father loved them. My daughter-in-law says they are known as the poor man's rose. Frankly, I would rather have a Peonies than a Rose.
Hands down my favorite flower. One day when I get married, I want to do so in late May just so I can have peonies. All those petals, all those different color options, it's just a lovely flower.

I love peonies because not only do they look beautiful and smell wonderful but they last nearly two weeks in a vase! The ultimate cut flower!

Beautiful peonies. I love their fragrance too. I have double blossoms of hot pink and wish they bloomed all year long.
