Why I love my CSA

Lettuce

Lettuce

Don't you love the little buggy nibble? It's organic, so we have to share with the little beasties.

I know, I know, this is a lazy post. But I have been out shopping, doing my part to stimulate the economy. Two pairs of cute sandals, a pair of shorts, and a new sewing desk, and I'm done. Exhausted.

I went shopping too! The moral of which was that I can't be trusted in a Barnes and Noble. Especially not near the wall of cookbooks that are on sale.

What a happy kind of exhaustion! ;-)
And the buggies are having a field day in my garden. ICK! I'm not good at sharing.... ;-)

Lol... my kids used to hate the buggy nibbles... 'til I told them that bugs were very good at brushing their teeth, so there were no germs. ;-)

Lazy schmazy... you're just worn out from all that shopping!

The bug nibble's beautiful and the lettuce itself is exquisite -- almost a fabric to use at your new sewing desk!

I love buggy nibbles as long as the buggy itself is long gone by the time the greenery gets to me. Actually, knowing that a buggy is able to eat it lets me know it's safe for me to eat it. :-)

If only I had a CSA! I'm jealous, but trying very hard to grow my garden. Yum!

My CSA is organic too, and it does make it that much more interesting to be a part of and see their methods. I always smile when I am washing (and rewashing) lettuce leaves of the dirt that comes with eating freshly pulled veg.
