Garden Tuesday - Herb Bed

Herb Bed

Why don't we play a game?? Look at my herb bed and see how many plants you can identify.

I've written some of the plants here in white, highlight over it to see how you did (lovage, nasturtium, solomon's seal, sage, rosemary, fennel, oregano, tarragon, hosta, mint, thyme, cleome, catnip, and pepper plants in pots).

How did you do?

WOW! Your herb bed looks fabulous. So jealous here. Do you dry or freeze any for winter use?

Man, many of my herbs have begun to bolt already. Yours looks fabulous!

With all of the rain we've had this year, my plants (most of the same ones you have) look like miniatures compared to yours. The garden looks wonderful.

How clever are you to create a game out of it! Looks like a wonderful herb garden!

Nothing happens when I roll over the spot - I think it is this Firefox that I use for visiting since the IE/Blogger troubles.
I love how huge your rosemary has gotten!
It is only an annual here/or has to be brought inside.

I am in awe. What a terrific herb garden. Something I've always dreamed of having.

Herbalicious! If we'd ever get more than 3 hours sunshine,my garden might not look so pathetic! Of course, i really didn't guess yours too well *sigh*

Holy cow! Your herb bed is the size of my entire garden! I love those blue pots lining the perimeter! I don't know how good I did in naming your herbs. The white writing didn't show up on my computer. I think I did pretty good at naming some of them, but there are others that I don't know! This was fun!

I admit it. I cheated right off. You have some very interesting plants included, like lovage, that aren't used often enough! I would love to see recipes you use for herbs from your garden.

Only about four, but I must say you have the most scrumptious herb garden I have ever seen! You are up there with Ina Garten's!

It's been too long since I've tried to grow anything. I only recognized the hosta and thyme. I could probably find the sage if I was actually IN your garden...and maybe the mint. And I cheated too...I didn't look very long before I highlighted. Clever. But that's your middle name.

That is a perfect herb garden indeed. The only ones I have ever seen that look like this are in a magazine. Awesome.
