Whoa that is so early! NYC schools don't go back until September. At least you have the flowers to perk you up.

I love daylillies too and wish I had bunches more. They don't seem to last long when you only have a few.

We don't start until the day after Labor Day. At least you don't feel like your summer was cut short. And since we're done by June 10, there's not a lot of griping to be done over the school year. (I homeschool, but I mirror the school schedule here).

Oh, I sighed at the first picture.. really I did. I'm sorry that the school thing begins so soon. I know the feeling of the crushing weight... ummm.. I mean, the overwhelming joy of helping student and parents alike....
