A blog about food, and a little about reading, and some sewing, and I might even knit something.
Whoa that is so early! NYC schools don't go back until September. At least you have the flowers to perk you up.
Sigh.... I am right there with you girl... the last of the daylilies and back to school in two weeks.
Boy, summer goes by fast for school teachers! Enjoy these last two weeks. Kat
Maybe it will be a much simpler year with joyous kids! Lovely flowers.
Beautiful flowers. Sorry your summer is almost over. Enjoy the remainder of it.
I want to sit in a chair in your garden.
I love daylillies too and wish I had bunches more. They don't seem to last long when you only have a few. With all the ads for back to school I was thinking the same thing ... already??
Those are some marvelous colors! We don't start until the day after Labor Day. At least you don't feel like your summer was cut short. And since we're done by June 10, there's not a lot of griping to be done over the school year. (I homeschool, but I mirror the school schedule here).
Beautiful daylillies. Don't want to work? Come to Ontario, where they strike... pretty much all the time.
I love daylillies as well. I was blessed with a yard that has got more of them than I know what to do with. You have some beautiful varieties!
They're so pretty :D
Oh, I sighed at the first picture.. really I did. I'm sorry that the school thing begins so soon. I know the feeling of the crushing weight... ummm.. I mean, the overwhelming joy of helping student and parents alike.... See... no problem.
They are quite blousey but very easy on the eye. Back to school, eh? Big deep breath.... Ann :)
Lovely. School so soon, wow. It comes up fast, doesn't it?
Gorgeous flowers. I really need to invest in a camera. I may have to hit the pawn shop soon!
