Ashamed to say I haven't a clue! And here I am, a garden club member.
My friend said it's a Crocus. I really don't know.
I echo Barbara's words:) Imagine..
ashamed to say i should know, i have it too, but menopasue has robbed my brain cells...
Not a clue! but I feel better already, knowing that I will be more educated later.
Bouganvillia? A dead one. Ha!
Do tell.
Oh lordy, I had to put my glasses on for this one. Not a clue. Some sort of flower pod, maybe? Some spore like Alien pod from the great beyond? Creature from the black lagoon pod? I know it's not one, but the split opening reminded me of the old cicada shells that used to litter the plants and trees back in Indiana. Tell us teacher, what is it?
Stella d'Oro pods
A petrified butterfly.
LOL! I clicked on the picture... you funny woman!
I was just trying to see if I could enlarge it. I swear I was!
I dont have a clue as to what it is, but it is sort of pretty, isn't it?
I think that's a stella d'oro day lily pod, no? They're pretty hard-core and usually planted around commercial buildings. Is this in your yard??
If I got this right, I'll settle for bragging rights. I never win anything!
I don't know what it is but I swear I've seen something like this on Sharps Ridge.
I feel like I should know this. Is it some kind of seed pod?
Calling on my vast knowledge of all things plant-y, I'm going to say it's a stick. With a thing on it.
All right, my peeps, I'm pretty impressed. Well, impressed a couple of you, some not so much.
It was the seed pod from my daylillies.
The aren't specifically stella d'oro pods, but close enough.
And I was so close.....
What?? Not an alien pod after all?
