Garden Tuesday - Oregano

Oregano
My oregano is going to seed, but I don't care, it's pretty and it keeps the bees happy!

Messy pollen
Um...this guy is a little messy.

Oh, my oregano died a couple of months ago. :(

Yours looks superb, Pam!

The second photo is awesome!

Your oregano is pretty. Messy bees are happy bees. And I run away from them, shrieking in fear.

Beautiful bee photo! Looks so fuzzy and soft. I almost forget it would give its life to remind me not to touch. LOL

Bee-U-tiful shots, Pam!

My oregano is going to seed as well ~ I don't have the heart to trim it back because the bees are busy doing their thing ~and not much else is blooming any longer. The oregano shrubs look alive with all of the activity.

I posted about the Donna Hay Spicy Chicken and Mint Salad you shared with us recently. The family LOVED it! Thanks for the heads-up.

I agree, beautiful. The plants are lovely when they bear the herbs, and lovely when they go to seed and show their flowers....

I know you sew. Make the poor bee a little tiny bib.

I'd be hanging out on your Oregano, too. Nice!

I love your nature shots, Pam. You know, I think you'd really enjoy my Dad's photography. He's amazing with the birds, insects, and scenics. Check it out if you have time.
