A blog about food, and a little about reading, and some sewing, and I might even knit something.
These photos bring a smile to my face!
Neat little birds.. A lot of people don't realize they migrate huge distances with those little wings..
Those are some fabulous pictures. I especially love the last one, with the hummingbird in flight.
I would be, too. Quite a trip they make, heaven bless them.
And of all the things they can eat at your house, they stay with the syrup in the hummingbird feeder. They clearly don't know what they're missing inside the house.
Aren't they just the most precious birds? Your photos caught them so well.
I had to go look at your profile to see where you live, since you have migrating hummers right now. We do too in AZ. Gobs of them. I actually had 5 on one feeder yesterday, and no camera!
Amazing birds aren't they?
Nice photos. I still have them coming to the feeders too! This should be the last week, it usually is. I will miss them.
What darling pictures, especially the last one.Sam
Adorable! That's it - I am asking for a hummingbird feeder for Mother's Day.
A week ago I counted 23 at one time. Now there are only a few scragglers... great photos!
So.....what song was he humming?
And what do the kitty cats think of this view? Even they have to love the hummingbirds!
I don't think I have ever seen a hummingbird up close! Amazing that you have these in your yard.
