A blog about food, and a little about reading, and some sewing, and I might even knit something.
My husband throws mine away = (
Collecting seeds is magical! If things aren't going so well, it takes you to the day that should have been! Like I said, magical!
I collect seeds too! This year I got a new bunch from the voluteer cosmos. I am lovin' that addition.Great photos.
:)I know..your cleomes are great:)I was chopping down the beds.. my husband chopped a tree peony:(
...and then you have the joy of buying new ones in the spring.
How many different varieties do you save? I saved some for the very first time this year ... but they were all veggies; no pretty flowers.
Fall is definitely here. I love this time of year.
Great suggestion, labeling. I should have had that suggestion two weeks ago.
Your photos are so pretty! I am never organized enough for seed collecting! I need to get out there and do it this year! :D
I was just about to accuse you of being too organized! Is it bad that I am pleased that you misplace them? :)
Ha! We planted seeds from three different packages last spring just to find out what they were. Someone forgot to label them. Not saying who.
I'm just impressed you would collect them at all!
I just opt for the bird eat and poop method tending t wherever they leave it. Leads to some odd things growing in odder places.
Cute.Great photos as always.LL
Hahaha! You sound like me! At least I know that someday, someone will unearth my stash, and by then, they'll probably be heirloom quality!
I do that with thoughts.Mike
I love seed pods. They are so beautiful in their own way and fun to photograph. I especially like the flat seeds from irises that look like tiny thick coins. Lovely photos!
Haha too true, too true. My parents collect their basil seeds every year. And every year I catch them buying a new plant from Home Depot. So funny.
Haha, I just loved the timing of this post. The last line made me smile.Very nice photos!
