Oh, I miss my kitties. We had two Siamese for years. The older one never "talked" until we took him to the vet for his first visit. He must have said to himself, "wow, I can meow." And talk he did after that.
My father-in-law sent a variety of Chinese spices one year (wok cookery was new to us then) for Christmas. While we were at work they went under the Christmas tree and opened the packages. They were so proud of themselves.
Thanks for bringing back some fun memories on this rainy Saturday in North Carolina. Sam
oh how i love smudge... i bet he never hacks up fur balls, shreds the couch, carpet or wallpaper or do various other sullen behaviors like mine... yep let me think you have the perfect gato por favor!
I am loving your cat sooo much. When my daughter's cat visited I could never get him to pose. Even for a second! He's a piece of work. Smudge looks like a calm, friendly, photo ready kitty. Lucky you!
I've had three cats- all Calicoes, one from Humane Society, which lived 18 yrs. One from a pet store(right after the Humane Society informed I just don't adopt a cat!).. and the last one from a meat market, living in a dumpster!- who was going to take it to our local Humane Society to get smoked!..Bestest animal ever.. Everyone- save a beast if you can, I think it's what we should do...
both kiddos are doing fine. dr said it was nothing more than the 'crud', and not to worry. bryan's pain was from an apparent pulled muscle, from all the coughing. they both woke up this morning, feeling much better. came home from the PBR, and he was running a fever again... guess it's gonna linger a bit. :/ thanks so much for your prayers!!
I must remember to check your weekend cat post each weekend. I love your cat photos. We adopted our 5 year old cat after losing our 17 year old cat to liver cancer on Aug 2. Our new cat, Oscar, loves to go out back with us and eat his salad, our grass. Cannot imagine our home without a cat.

Holy cow! What a beautiful face! My old cats used to think the plants growing in my kitchen window were their personal salad bar!

Aw, Smudge, you're so lucky that your mama's smart enough to keep munchies for you!

I just love Smudge - especially his blue eyes and his name.
Never get in the way of a cat and his nip.
Smudge...I'm surprised that he actually took the time to look at the camara for you!
I live for Saturdays and weekend cat blogging! ~Natalie
