El Prado Tempranillo Cabernet Sauvignon, 2007, Valencia. $5.99. We say - Light. Black cherry flavors. Very good, not a heavy red. Buy again: definitely!!
Lindeman's Sauvignon Blanc, South Africa, 2007. $5.00. They say: Crisp mineral textures with vibrant ruby grapefruit, melon and stone fruit flavors. We say: Lindeman's!! We are so disappointed. We love a good Sauvignon Blanc all herbaceous and citrusy. Unfortunately this was not good. It was weak, flat, minerally. Buy again - no.

I'm disappointed, too! I always think of Lindemans as a solid brand.
My manager loves Lindeman's must be a different one:) Your prices are UNBELIEVABLE~
Happy Holidays to you!!
You win some, you lose some. I like a good sauvignon blanc as well but they are hard to come by!
We don't drink much wine --so it's nice to read some of the better ones out there.. I guess my favorite white wine is White Zen. I struggle with the reds since I like a sweeter wine with a berry flavor.. They seem to be hard to find.. I'll think I have just the perfect one--and then when I drink it, I find that it's NOT.
Have a great Sunday, Pam.
Hugs,
Betsy
that is surprising. I drink Lindeman's a lot. Never outstanding, but certainly for the price, never a disappointment. I have not had their sauvignon blanc though.
Thanks for the tip on the first one, will start looking for it...great price (I am cheap)
Love the prices! I will have to try the red one...I'm usually a white wine drinker, but maybe I would like the light flavor!
I can't believe the prices! I'll have to try the El Prado. I like a good red wine.
I can't believe how little you pay for wine there. I am moving in. :)
