I absolutely love any type of garden art! I need to look at expanding our collection this spring! Thanks for sharing. Your photography is always so good (I am working on improving mine).
my grandmother had st francis in her garden under a cherry tree. i have always wondered what happened to it. i wish it was mine. it was so lovely and worn down. i have been looking for one for myself, but can't find such a nice one like yours or my grandmother's.
Oh, I love this photo. I had a St. Francis in my garden years ago and one morning I looked out and he had a squirrel sitting on his head! The squirrel's tail was hanging down F's back, like one of those Davy Crockett hats we wore when I was little.
Gorgeous pic - I wish I had a St. Francis to look after my herb garden, maybe he could have stopped the red spider mites attacking my sage whilst I was on holiday :(

He is such a favorite of mine..:) Here he would have a white shawl~
I love the angle. It looks like he's going for a walk.
Looks like you have a lot of herbs left still.
There are others who keep cranberries year round also -I love it.
Isn't it nice to have someone else help while you're busy? Especially when it's this cold.
That is so neat. It looks like Rosemary in the background. I love cooking with Rosemary.
I like the shadow on his shoulder, nice angle.
You could have picked a better supervisor.

i would like his job too~
That is touching. I've been having my eye on a statue of St. Francis at our nursery.
I agree with hip chick above. He does look like he's going for a walk. Lovely.

Fun!
With St. Francis overlooking your herb garden, I'm sure those are the best herbs one can get... Thank you, St. Francis!!!!
Hugs,

He has a lot of pull ya know.
I think I need one of those in my garden. It needs lots of looking after.
honor the saints and the saints honor you
That's what the nuns said right before I got my knuckles whacked
Love the simplicity of that photo.
Just like Food with Style I would love to have his job.

Very cool. I was pretty sure he was an actual person at first!

Somehow, I think Francis would have liked that...
