Garden Tuesday

Bunny Mr. Bunny is ready for spring.  He is tired of snow and ice.

Oakleaf hydrangea is ready for spring, with one of last years blooms, still holding on, as new growth pops out. 

Lenten rose Lenten rose is ready for spring.  It’s blossoms hang heavy and closed.

Pam is ready for spring.  How about you?

    So ready. The weather has been so warm where I live that my early clematis is already blooming. I’ve already been to the garden shop to daydream.

    Lenten Rose… thanks!! I always knew it as Helleborus, which is a complete mouthful to say, but I didn’t know the common name!
    So plants in my memory garden, I now christen you “Lenten Rose”.

    My asparagus are peeking out of the ground telling me that spring is nearby. Of course they won’t live to see summer!
