A blog about food, and a little about reading, and some sewing, and I might even knit something.
Smudge, demonstrating the fine art of…..
guarding the newly emerging catnip.

We had a patch of that for years..nothing funnier than a stoned cat! Spearmint gum wrappers work much the same way...
That is so hilarious! I bought some cat mint to plant. I hope it works for Sugar.
It's 4:20. Do you know where your cat is?Thanks for hosting! We're up at http://judi-mindovermatter.blogspot.com/2010/04/weekend-cat-blogging-255.html
We have catnip this week as well (among other addictions).http://www.ptank.com/blog/2010/04/weekend-cat-blogging-and-photo-hunt-addiction/Thanks for hosting :)
I noticed our little patch of catnip has come up. As soon as it stops snowing, My little Queso will turn into a stoner. And then later on when it blooms...watch out. And by the way, have you noticed that after it's bloomed and goes to seed, the birds love it. Then it's all over your yard. :-0
Yes! Smudge, guard your stash!
cute that he is upright, mine only lay on it until i drag them home...
I always wish I had a kitty when I see Smudge :)
We all have our jobs to do and Smudge looks to be a very conscientious employee.
I've never thought to plant catnip. Does it flower at all or is it just grass-ish?
We buy catnip...I guess it's dried? I'll bet they love it growing fresh...must try this...Happy Sunday ~Natalie
