We had a patch of that for years..nothing funnier than a stoned cat! Spearmint gum wrappers work much the same way...

I noticed our little patch of catnip has come up. As soon as it stops snowing, My little Queso will turn into a stoner. And then later on when it blooms...watch out. And by the way, have you noticed that after it's bloomed and goes to seed, the birds love it. Then it's all over your yard. :-0

We all have our jobs to do and Smudge looks to be a very conscientious employee.
I've never thought to plant catnip. Does it flower at all or is it just grass-ish?
We buy catnip...I guess it's dried? I'll bet they love it growing fresh...must try this...
