Ah Smudge what a beauty. We've got a wild Georgie that runs laps on the roof above our bedroom at 4:00 AM so we'll get up and feed her; hates people except for us; catches birds, mice, rats and lizards and taught our Schnauzer to kill 'em; and, plays in the water fountain on a regular basis. One weird feral cat.

I could curl right up nest to smudge and enjoy the day. Content.

Sweet Smudge. The heat has been unbearable. I've always heard that is why Southerners move so slowly, thus Southern cats must too.
What a life eh? ;-)
Oh Pam, that is a gorgeous photo of Smudge!
i look like that every season... just as hairy too!
Heck, somebody's got to hold down that porch!
That animal knows how to enjoy summer! Have a great day. Blessings...Maryu
Smudge is looking very content as usual.
Relaxing is hard work but someone has to do it, right Smudge?
What a life! Nice way to spend a sweltering day, especially when wearing a fur coat :)
I love that photo. I am pleased to say we have a new little furry friend that comes to visit us each day.
I never tire of seeing gorgeous Smudge!
Flat out once again.
Shockingly, that's how much energy there is in the EatsWellWithOthers household at the moments also. Maybe I was a cat in a former life.
Well, what do you expect if you keep them awake all night promising them breakfast at the most unlikely hours LOL
Yep, Smudge has the right idea.
I am with Smudge--I have felt the same way all weekend! ;-)
That is the most precious picture of a cat that I've ever seen. Now that's a look of contentment.
