Patchouli is more than content to do her bird watching from inside. She thinks that the birds will be just fine until oh, say about September, when the temperatures become more reasonable for kitty cats.
This will be my entry for Weekend Cat Blogging hosted by Breadchick and LB at The Sour Dough.

I'm quite impressed by Patchouli's rationality.
Such a smart kitty. How silly of those birds to flit about in the heat like that...Patchouli is so much smarter =)
I love weekend cat blogging. Possibly going to be getting two kittens soon... I intend to take more photographs.
Missed visiting regularly. I had the slowest connections you could imagine, and checking in regularly was not always possible. Looking forward to becoming a regular again.

We finally have rain in Alabama after a heat index of 110 yesterday. Patchouli has definitely made the best decision.
Patchouli always takes the loveliest of photos.
Adorable! I like Patchouli's coloring!
I can't find your post where you wrote about "One Day". I finished the novel last week and was just sobbing over it. Absolutely wonderful novel.
Her plan is excellent, of course. The birdies will be more at ease in September, and easier for her to play with!
wow, what a smart cat. i finally posted a picture of my cat on my blog today if you want to check her out!
The thinking girl's feline.
I bet the birds love the hot and catunfriendly weather ;-)
Patchouli's got the right idea!
Yes, a very smart kitty. Our Mr. Rhett has never met a door he didn't want to be on the other side of... no matter what dangers or heat meets him. Not the brightest crayon in the box.
