San Elias, Sauvignon Blanc, 2009, Chile, $7.99. They say: pale in color with a gooseberry bouquet and fresh zesty flavor. We say: light and pleasant. Buy again: probably not. It is sad to say, but if we can find a wine for $4.99 that we adore, when we are only meh about one for $7.99, it just doesn’t make it to our list. That is how cheap we are.

You are NOT cheap. you're frugal. And I totally agree with you.
Wine has no value unless you enjoyed it.
Trader Joes has completely ruined me. My favorite wine there is $3.99 and everyone loves it!

Hmm. Sounds like something I'd like my tombstone to read. Since it doesn't fit the wine, can I have it? I could file the passage away for later. Much later.
Give it some thought. Thanks! SparkleFarkle~~~~~*
Frugality pays and you have lots of company. Your photo is gorgeous. I hope you are having a great day. Blessings...Mary
you are NOT cheap - you just know what you like and won't let prices interfere with your decision!
I love it that you don't let price mean more to you than the flavor! I will be going back through your reviews when I make it back to the states and have to leave all my favorite wines behind..
i agree. why pay more when you enjoy something at a lower price? wine un-snobs unite! next on my to try list is a box, yes, i said box, of sangria i found at target.
I just tried the Cab from this label. It was decent for the price. I'd buy it again. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, SusanD
