My cosmos spends most of it’s summer hidden from view, by all the big burly plants.
But in the fall, when everything else is dying away, it’s lovely delicate flowers have their chance in the spotlight.
A blog about food, and a little about reading, and some sewing, and I might even knit something.

I love cosmos, we have some sun in the backyard now after a serious de-limbing. I should plant some this coming spring, they just keep on keeping on, always offering a bloom. Thanks for the reminder.

Lovely. Among my favorite annuals. So easy to grow. Some of my mum's towered at seven feet.
I love cosmos, but have never been able to keep it alive. Weird, I know. It's supposed to be one of the easiest, no brainer plants. I finally just decided to enjoy it in other people's yards!
Well, the big burly plants probably save the little cosmos from burning up! Sounds like a win to me!
