Weekend Wine Reviews #47

Silly Goose Shiraz

Silly Goose, Shiraz, Australia.  $5.99.  They say:  full bodied red brimming with fresh berries and spice.  We say:  very light, some spice, berry at the finish, pleasant, not very complex.  Buy again:  Maybe.  Not bad for the price.

Not bad for the price and not bad for the label and name! But I would be wary about who you gifted that too. You wouldn't want them to take it personally.

Good Morning, Pam,
It does sound refreshing...I'd buy it for the name!

Can I admit something just awful... I often buy wine for their names like fat bastard and goats do roam... would have gotten this in a snap... the colors are great too!

I like the price and I'll be on the lookout for this one.
