Do you need a relentless ground cover? A ground cover that marches over huge sections of your yard, subduing everything in it’s path.

That can work it’s way between rocks and crevices, and even kitty cats if they sit still for too long. Then go Google sedum. All of this, the seemingly endless miles of it, came from a small handful I pilfered at an estate sale. Best pilfering I have ever done.
Please join me for Garden Tuesday.

A little goes a long way!
I love that it adds a little bit of green to everything!
Is this the same as Hens and Chicks? Around these parts we also have a sedum commonly called Autumn Joy that's very popular. It's what I think of when I hear "sedum". It's tall and flowers in the fall.
I spent yesterday ripping handfuls of that same kind of sedum out of my gardern! It was getting into my chives.
I will have to check this out, we have areas that need help, and that just might be the helper.
In fact, I do need that! I think sedum is good for our climate, too (hot drought). Sorry I haven't been round in a while. Hope you're well!
That is really something! Wish I had known about it when I lived in Michigan. Sometimes things like this can be a blessing, other times annoying as it takes over something else.
I love sedums! But they do like to spread!
I like the way it looks, love your garden pics.
Hi there! Sedum is so beautiful. I remember we had a big plant of one variety of it that had gorgeous pink flowers on it in the autumn. Then they dried out and look fabulous against the snow. Thank you for hosting!
I have some of that. I am glad to say it has never tried to cover Thor.
I do have an area that needs some ground cover! My garden is in an odd state and needs some filling in.
I love it. It even covers here in the desert.
Hmmmm wonder if that would grow here... so pretty.
So, I had to go look up sedum because I wasn't sure what it was. Well, it may be a pain in the garden, but it looks really good! I read that it has flowers, what color are yours?
Does yours have yellow flowers? That's what I have. Home Depot labels it Mexican Sedum.
