I am about to need a garden version of What Was it Wednesday? I have so many garden photos and I usually only post one or two. So, today it’s a bit of clean up. Here are four random pictures from my garden in April.
Got shade? Then you need this. Foam Flower. It’s a lovely creeping kind of ground cover with soft delicate flowers in early spring.
Bleeding Hearts. Love them.
Am I the only one who finds buds as interesting as the flowers themselves? Columbine.
Besides buds, I love plants with interesting leaves. More columbine.

Bev is also a bleeding heart fan and has several growing in the woods off the deck.

Love all the different shaped leaves! I really like the foam flowers too. I can just picture them under a tree.
I love bleeding hearts but as of yet I don't have any. That is on my list for next year.

I have all of those perennials in my yard. I think the bleeding heart is my favorite early/mid-spring flower. My kids love it too for the heart-shaped flowers.
Got rain. I think that goes with shade, right?
