Pouilly Fuisse, Louis Jadot, France, 2008. $21.00. We say: fruit up front, pear and apple, with a bit of citrus, a little honey at the end. Buy again: Probably. This was pretty much at the top of price point for wine, but it was very good. Every once in a while we dabble above our usual five dollars a bottle!

Dabbling in higher prices is fun for special occasions. This sounds like a worthy indulgence.
A nicely chilled, citrus-y and sweet white wine sounds so perfect for a summer evening.
On J's faves list..:)
I remember tasting this at a wine tasting party. it really is very good as you said!
My husband and I went to the Carolina Inn in Pinehurst many, many years ago and ordered this wine. It was way above our price point then, too. I think it was $13.
You don't even want to know how we pronounced it.
Awesome! I bookmarked this blog. I love the featured wines!
