Thistle Dew Chardonnay-Verdelho, Australia, 2009, $6.99 at Cost Plus World Market. They say: This wine presents bright aromas of melon, orange and cherry blossoms with a delicate hint of vanilla leading to savory fruit flavors that balance perfectly on the palate. We say: light, a bit of melon, a touch of citrus, not very full flavored, not much to it. Buy again: hubby was not too crazy about it, but I liked it. So, it’s up to you. Whose opinion do you value most. I know you’ll make the right decision :)

Looks good. Friday night I tried Lucky duck chardonnay and it was pretty good. I don't normally like chardonnay. Another one that's pretty good in the hot summer is flip flop chardonnay. Both of these are dirt cheap.
Of course. . . I'd step off a curb on your word alone.
Sometimes a light white is just what a summer evening demands :)
A glass for me please Pam. I hope it's chilled :)
I love the name! I am not a Chardonnay fan but when I get one that is buttery and not oaky... I am in love!
sometimes i like a light, citrusy wine--especially in the summer. i'll go with you on this one.
Can't say I'm too keen on all that citrus flavour. Like grass even less. Nice label.
