Garden Tuesday - Keys of Heaven

Keys of heaven

I took this picture on May 5, 2010.  It has absolutely nothing to do with my garden right now.  And unfortunately I also have nothing to do with my garden right now, unless you consider the endless watering, which seems to be accomplishing nothing.

Please join me for Garden Tuesday.

Memories of the good old days.

My zinnas are still going strong and so are the lantana and black-eyed Susans. I saw mums at the nursery yesterday. Must mean fall is coming. It was 59 here this morning.

I brought some pictures of the Biltmore Estate and Gardens for Garden Tuesday. There's always something gorgeous blooming there.

Pam, I have no contribution this week. It is so dry here, the only blooms I have are Okra, and I already posted that. I love the photo and that is a beautiful flower.

My garden has been taken over by weeds.

Beautiful picture Pam even though it is from May. We have plenty of water here in the Northeast if you would like some :-)

My gardens are so pitiful girl. I'm looking forward to the next spring actually.

I don't have many blooms in my garden right now, though I'm grateful for the elephant ears (I think that's their name) that I planted in the spring. They're adding some much needed color to the shade garden.

This week, I shared how blessed we were by Hurricane Irene. Only our grape trellis was knocked over, and one butterfly bush was damaged on one side. I'm so grateful that it was so little!

Pretty photo! Pam this is fun I wish I found it earlier. I always seem to throw a photo now and then of my yard and plants.

We are getting plenty of rain at night and evenings. Nice I don't have to water or fill the pool.

Rose gardening is a dreamy hobby because rose is a type of flower that carries a lot of meanings according to its color. If you want to become a proud gardener, one of the ways that you can do that is by having a garden full of blooming roses.
