I figure if you read this blog, you are kind of like me. And if you are kind of like me, peaking into people’s houses is a hobby of yours. Yes, I am partial to walking through neighborhoods right at that magic hour. Magic hour? You know…that time between when people turn on their lights, but they haven’t yet closed their curtains. I love catching glimpses of chandeliers, furniture, wall colors, pictures.

So, today I’m giving you a glimpse of my dining room. Decorated for Halloween.

This is not my dining room, it’s a pub table that sits in the area between my kitchen and my family room. It’s also decorated for fall.

Orange and brown add such warmth to an interior. Looks very cosy.
Happy Halloween
(and you're right about the shared hobby;-))
So pretty and warm.
I made the spaghetti squash recipe. Really enjoyed it. Thanks.
I love your two pumpkin pieces! They're both a little out of the box.
Happy Halloween!
I'm going to make my husband see this post. He seems to think I'm the only one on this earth that loves looking into other peoples homes during that wonderful time of day! Anyhow... I love the subtle decor and beautiful furniture!! ;-)
I love seeing photos inside your house. You always decorate so beautifully. Really like the pumpkins
Gorgeous Pam. Love your house, and all your treasures!
I love it.. Personally I like going in and looking at really old houses. turn of the century design. Of Course those are some of the oldest house we have here in Oregon.. I would love to see some of the houses back east, and in the South.. You do a lovely job of decorating. At this point in my life, I would be happy to get through the stacks of junk mail calling out my name............now that's a scary decoration for Halloween.
Yes, love that "magic hour" too. Wonderful wood floors your have!

What's the point of having a nice house if you can't decorate it and share with others?
Hang on a minute...there's been a change of pumpkin.
So pretty Pam!
Only 17 more sleeps until I put up my Christmas decorations ~ I'm so excited!!

Thank for the peek. Very cozy and autumn-y.
I'm showing my dining table on a post right now too :)

Yep. I share your hobby. I love to see how real people decorate their homes much more so than flipping through decorating magazines.
Love your windows. Like you, we don't have any window treatments on ours, with the exception of blinds for privacy at night.
Love that platter (teal & yello) on your hutch in your dining room. And your orchids are beautiful. Even the simple "vase" of flowers is pretty next to the pumpkin. Lovely. Why don't you come decorate for me now? ;)
