Like the media, my Christmas cactus apparently can not wait until Christmas. Next year, it will probably start blooming on Halloween.

It must be getting it's calendar of events from CVS or Walgreens. They put their Christmas stuff out before Thanksgiving was barely over!

Gorgeous, Pam... My Christmas Cactus is showing NO signs of blooming this year... Guess I'll re-pot it next spring....
We had flurries all morning... Acted like it was going to stick to everything really early---but then the temp warmed up--and it melted... Just flurries now.

When I was little, my grandmother had a giant Christmas cactus that bloomed whenever it wanted to, off and on all year long. Christmas cacti always make me think of her.
I love that it blooms late in the year. Mine bloomed a few weeks ago.
Mine has buds! It didn't bloom at all last year, so I'm excited.
My mom had one that lasted for probably 7 or 8 year that bloomed every year at Christmas AND Easter. So weird. It's replacement did not.
