At the beginning of the spring, I scattered some Cosmos seeds around in my flower bed. Now, my flower bed is pretty full, since I am a firm believer in filling every square inch with flowers to try and leave not a measly drop of ground for weeds to take hold. Doesn’t really work, but I try. So, anyway, I think one little plant came up and then it was completely overtaken by my army of perennials. Until now. All of sudden, while everything else is dying off, the cosmos have popped up!

Better late than never, I guess!
Please join me for Garden Tuesday.

For such delicate looking flowers, they are serious survivors!
Cosmos are my husband's favorite garden flowers. He planted some two years ago, and they self-seeded this year. We're hoping we have the makings of a permanent cosmos patch.
I love Cosmos! Maybe you will get more over time.
I don't know why, but the name Cosmos bipinnatus always makes me giggle. Great plant though. Really vibrant and strong even though they don't look it ;-)
So pretty! You sure don't want to see MY garden LOL!! But I'll enjoying visiting the gardens of others.
Not my idea of a Cosmo:)
Clever Cosmos!
Love me some Cosmos! My garden is finished for the year, thanks to the snow we received yesterday. Sigh.
