Mad Dogs & Englishmen, 2008, Shiraz, Tempranillo, and Carignan. This was a gift from middle daughter’s darling boyfriend. Can we pause for a minute and say that our admiration can totally be bought by giving us wine. They say: ripe raspberry and black fruit aromas and flavors with hints of black pepper, cinnamon, and vanilla oak. We say: dry, light, black pepper and berry, nice and complex. Buy again: yes!!

I'm back at cat blogging. You know I never want to miss it!
Coco is perfectly camouflaged!
I'm a sucker for humour or other interesting twists in a wine label, so I'd buy this one for the name alone. Mad Dogs & Englishmen, love it.
Your middle daughter's boyfriend is a smart guy ;-)
Wasn't that the name of something to do with Joe Cocker? An album or his band? Just wondering.
Yes, Wine is a great way to bribe!!
I just opened that bottle last night! It was great.
Haha my love is more susceptibe to cupcakes than to wine-giving. But I love the name of this wine. ANd cute names are up there with cupcakes.
