I don’t stir-fry nearly enough. I go through phases. Right now I’m in a big roasting phase (of course, it being winter and freezing, the benefits of hot oven heating up your kitchen can not be ignored). The other day, I was craving a stir-fry. Nothing fancy, just your basic, a little bit of meat, a little bit of veg, a little bit of sauce, over some fluffy white steamed rice.
So, I found Beef, Mushroom, and Broccoli Stir-fry in The Bon Appetit Cookbook: Fast Easy Freshmy favorite place to turn for recipes that are…well…Fast, Easy and Fresh! This was perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Since it is Friday, and since I have things to do, I found it online for you Beef, Mushroom, and Broccoli Stir-fry. Saves me from having to retype it all in and it reminds you to visit Epicurious.
This will be my entry for Foodie Friday at Designs by Gollum!

Our favorite cookbook! I haven't stir fried in forever...at least a few months. Damn winter cold.
Looks fabulous Pam! Epicurious is great, isn't it?
We need to stir fry more often as well, especially since it can be made pretty healthy.
I made a beef, broccoli and orange stir fry last night. Of course, I stir fry under the broiler, because I cook large quantities. But it was still just wonderful.
Healthy fare...I'm on board!
Love stir-fry!
Happy weekend Pam!

That's a great photo Pam. I couldn't agree more, I don't stir fry enough either. And such a great dish for a busy weeknight meal.
We aren't important enough for you to retype? sniff sniff (kidding)
Even after 9 days of eating mushroom dishes, this looks delicious to me.
i like words like stir-fry that describe their meaning exactly. :)
Can't thank you enough Pam. You are saving me a small fortune in recipe books. You are spot on - a stir fry is just what I need.
I must admit, I am a big roaster too (even in summer) - I love that you can just bung something in the oven and then go away and do something else for a while. But I do love a good stir-fry every so often, and I know this dish would go down very well around here.

I stir fry quite a bit and this happens to be my favorite combination. I hope you are keeping warm in this chilly weather.
