How about a little spring game? Let’s place “guess the bud” – This first one is easy!
This second one, not so easy. As a matter of fact, if you can guess this, I’ll give you a million dollars. Or rather I would, if I had won the lottery. Unfortunately, I only won $12.00, which doesn’t in anyway make up for the hundreds that I have spent over the years. So, you will just have to intrinsically reward yourself.

I have got to get me some pussy willows!! The second one is hard. I went out to get some photos this morning for you garden, but it is way too cloudy and they all turned out dreary. Wish I had a good camera.
Well, I'm lost at the first one Pam. It looks familiar, so I'll feel foolish when you reveal the answer. The second one looks like a Dogwood tree to me, but I could be wrong there too.
I have no idea...my excuse...we have different buds down here in Florida! :) but I did know the first one!
I'm not good about trees. The 1st looks like pussywillow and the second, dogwood.
Yes, the first is easy (and I love them) but (don't tell my garden club) I don't have a clue for the second.

Well, I have to say pussy willow for the first. The second is not like anything in my garden. Closest would be crabapples.
