Weekend Wine Reviews #101 ~ Sofia Rose

Sofia Rose

Sofia Rose, Monterey County, 2010, $12.79, Costco.  We say:  sweet, floral, finishes a bit tart, a bit of peach.  Yummy.  Buy again:  hubby says no, but he is not a fan of rose.  I say yes.  Plus the bottle makes a fantastic vase.

Yes, a very pretty bottle. Have to agree with hubby. I'm not a fan of sweet rose. I prefer the roses of Provence, which aren't sweet at all. Unfortunately very difficult to find here.

Cheers,
Sam

I love sipping a rose on the back deck in warm weather.

I rediscovered Rose after a friend visited France and said how wonderful it is. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll have to give it a try!

At first I thought you were blogging about Sophia Grace and Rosie :-)
This is one I bought for the bottle.
