Forget “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” I bring you “Cat on a Hot Screened in Porch.” I looked out our window and saw Smudge lying on the back porch. I was able to snap this pick without disturbing him.
A few minutes later I looked out to see if he was still there, and found this:

Apparently it is a popular spot. Coco, however, noticed me snapping the pic. And yes, she has a picked up a few souvenirs from the woods behind out house. Luckily there is nothing more fun than trying to comb leaves off of a cats belly (insert heavy sarcasm here).

Lovely cat! Mine is able to go out on my balcony and she will spend hours out there.Stopping by on the blog hop.
Great pictures and it looks like your cats are truly enjoying summer. I wouldn't attempt combing my cat's belly. He's astonishingly grouchy - but he is 18 years old....
Dropping by on the pet blogger hop today! Loving the look on his face that says, "I'm tired of all this weeding."
Sometimes when I work in dog rescue, which is almost every weekend, I come across a dog that needs a special home or a special family. Right now we've got Skylark, a six month old deaf puppy, to place. That's why I really liked the family that has Lola the Pug. Enjoy their song about Lola, the Pug who Cannot Run at

Hey Smudge, Hey Coco, Jet here.
You look perfectly comfy... Puffy, Fluffy (the felines), JJ and I love to take a snooze in that position, too!
Lovely cat

I take it this means Patchouli is still hanging out in the Cat Condo, away from Coco? Smudge and Coco looked pretty happy there on the porch.
Smudge is adorable. It looks like he's getting quite comfortable with his photo shoots. I love how he looked right into the camera.
Using a cat thermometer, those stretches tell me it is between 85-90 degrees outside?
A popular spot indeed!!! Gorgeous kitties!!
Both kitties are so darn cute! Thye both look very happy to be belly-up in a nice warm spot! :)
