My favorite thing to make is infused liqueurs. Though you probably already knew that based on: Dark Cherry Liqueur and Bourbon Soaked Cherries, Orange Liqueur, Cranberry Liqueur, and Limoncello to name a few!
Besides having all that lovingly infused liqueur to drink, you also have fruit laden with liqueur. I don’t waste that fruit. One of my favorite ways to use it is on top of ice cream. Just spoon out a few pieces of fruit (in this case cherries) and drizzle a smidgen of the liqueur over the top and you have elevated ice cream from a kiddie treat to a decidedly adult dessert.
