A blog about food, and a little about reading, and some sewing, and I might even knit something.
Everything is going to seed around here. I love it. I love the browns and yellows and oranges slowly overtaking the lush greens of summer.
Please join me for Garden Tuesday.
So purrty!! I love how you got all up close and personal in those shots.
Those seed heads are lovely. A lot of my flowers are gone to seed, though others hang on. O love this time of year.Yael from Home Garden Diggers
Mine too..but I chop most down to the ground..do youLooks so clean and bare now..Pretty seeds..
I just love this time of year. The last gasp. Beautiful.
Great photos!
Love your photo of the butterfly and the purple coneflowers. My "gone to seed" garden is not nearly as pretty as yours.
that looks like my elephant garlic getting ready to bloom
Isn't this the most amazing stage for these plants. We get stuck on the flower. ALL of the plant's stages are magnificent. Thanks for reminding us!
