When the lovely people at Oh! Nuts contacted me and asked me if I would like to try a few things for my holiday baking, I was sure they had me confused with someone else. You know someone who actually bakes. But I had actually just been browsing through Barefoot Contessa, How Easy Is That?: Fabulous Recipes & Easy Tipsand had marked Chipotle & Rosemary Roasted Nuts to try.
You know what I also love? This recipe. You don’t even dirty a bowl. You pile all the nuts up on your baking sheet and drizzle and sprinkle all the fabulous glaze ingredients over them and toss.
And then you spread them out on your baking sheet. Your kitchen is already smelling good!
And while they’re roasting you stir them a few times, so they don’t stick. Because they are sticky. Because they are covered in a mapley, brown sugary, chipotley, salty, rosemary glaze. I know.
And when you are finished you have this gorgeousness. As it cools, you have to stir it occasionally to keep them from clumping together. And sometimes while your stirring it a few tumble out of the pan onto the counter. Eat those. They are your reward.
