Garden Tuesday ~ Frosty Cardinals

Frost on lambs ear

frost on weeds

My frosty garden this week.  We had the promise of snow, but instead  had a sleety-spity very cold rain.  Boo. We did get out of school two hours early and had a two hour delay the next day, so all was not lost.

How about you, how is your garden this week?

Please join me for Garden Tuesday.

The cardinal must be so cold!

I spotted 6 cardinals in my yard this weekend, but it was far too cold to get out there for a photo!

Lovely photos, Pam. The cardinals are pretty little birds, aren't they?

we don't have cardinals here so i am always amazed at their brilliance. now frost... been living with that for 3 weeks straight :-(

in ca the citrus is ripe and ready, true its been 20 degrees, but you can pick fresh frozen right off the tree now~

I have not seen our cardinal in a year or 2. Maybe he moved to your yard, which is warmer than mine!

I love the photos of your cold garden. We've had a bit of near freezing weather and the citrus trees are complaining and dropping their fruit. We had to cover them for a few nights so they didn't freeze.

Gorgeous photos! We have cardinals, I love them! We have no low bushes for them to perch in though so they only lite occasionally in the trees.
