Frost

My frosty garden this week.  We had the promise of snow, but instead  had a sleety-spity very cold rain.  Boo. We did get out of school two hours early and had a two hour delay the next day, so all was not lost.

How about you, how is your garden this week?

we don’t have cardinals here so i am always amazed at their brilliance. now frost… been living with that for 3 weeks straight :-(

in ca the citrus is ripe and ready, true its been 20 degrees, but you can pick fresh frozen right off the tree now~

I love the photos of your cold garden. We’ve had a bit of near freezing weather and the citrus trees are complaining and dropping their fruit. We had to cover them for a few nights so they didn’t freeze.

Gorgeous photos! We have cardinals, I love them! We have no low bushes for them to perch in though so they only lite occasionally in the trees.
