Last Saturday morning, I looked out my window and saw the sun rising, shining through the morning fog, in the woods behind my house. I love how ghostly it looks!

I was thinking the same thing. Your woods look like Halloween. We have had fog, smog, sleet, freezing rain and going on three feet of snow this week. Ugghhhh...can't wait for spring.
Wonderful photos! It is so rainy here (and dark under all those clouds) I am hoping to get my post up tonight after work. We do have the "freescape" iris coming up in the front yard.
Yes, I can imagine something, someone, moving around through, and emerging from within that fog.
