I am not a professional chef. Nor do I play on one tv. Now, however, through the magic of Chef’s Emporium, I am one in my own kitchen.

When Chef’s Emporium contacted me about picking a product from their website to review, I almost didn’t even go to their website. I get emails all the time from companies asking me to review their products. I am very choosy about what I review, I want to make sure that it is something that I would actually use. That is why I rarely do product reviews.
But it was a Saturday and since I had real work to do, I was open to spending a few more minutes on the computer, perusing a website (anything to keep from doing real work). OH MY GOSH. They had CHEF’S COATS! Real CHEF’S COATS! Then I thought for sure they had made a mistake. So, real quick before they realized they had chosen me instead of some really big food blogger, I hurried up and ordered the V-Series White Verona Women’s Cool Vent Chef Coat.
Look at it! Isn’t it gorgeous!!! AND, don’t I look like a professional chef!!! Of course my husband, who was manning the camera, in the middle of it said, “You should have ironed it.” Well, of course I should have, but I was much too excited to put it on. It is absolutely gorgeous with elegant and understated gray trim on the front of the jacket and on the little pocket on the sleeve. It is super comfortable, the sleeves are just the right length (no more trying to bunch up my sleeves with dirty hands). It has a vented mesh area under the arms for when it gets a little hot in the kitchen.

See. There’s that cute little pocket on the sleeve. Is that for a thermometer? Be still my heart! I love it, totally love it. The only thing is now I need to go back and get one of those long aprons that you tie around your waist. Then I will be all set.
Seriously, these are so cool. We are all foodies here and I think we can agree that a Chef’s Coat is just about the coolest thing ever. This would make the most impressive gift to any foodie or would-be foodie that you know. You can even have them personalized! They also have the kind that have the mandarin type collars White Mirabella Women’s Executive Chef Coat and men’s chef’s coats too! With Mother’s Day and Father’s Day coming around the corner – these would be perfect!!
Thank you Chef’s Emporium for the opportunity to review this coat. I love it.
****Disclaimer, I received a copy of this coat for review. No other compensation was received. Giddy excitement is all my own.

Hmm so maybe I shouldn't have ignored that email from them...

Yes, that chef coat is YOU! Love that you're so excited about it. Your stove looks amazing!
My son went to school to be a chef and I remember how excited he was about that coat! :)
You are totally rockin' that coat and wear it well.
You look like a chef to me.
I am so glad that you have giddy excitement! It's an unusual giveaway, and I'm glad you're enjoying it. It's also nice to see shots of your kitchen in action.
Mom! You look legit now! :) But of course I've been eating your food all my life and knew you were a chef a long time ago!
Sweet! I may borrow this good idea for a birthday gift.
Love the clock! Where did you get it?
So cute! I love it!
The sleeve pocket is for a spoon. You look as flash as a rat with a gold tooth!
I visit you for many reasons. To be a part of Garden Tuesday, your wonderful selection of recipes to share and the photos. But today the best part of this post (really like all others) is how real you are. I would not have ironed it either and I need to add, I love that you have a dish drainer on the counter. The grater was just the icing on the cake!
I have one, too, and wear it mostly for BIG cooking days. Pretty cool to see the look on my guys' faces when they see me in it (proud of ole mom). :D
This really made me miss you.
Uhh, the clock next to your oven got too hot ;)
Great chef's coat! GFS in Knoxville has them and Alexis keeps threatening to buy me one.
I love this post and I'm quite green with envy! I've got the website bookmarked to remind my husband to show my daughter when she starts asking for Mother's Day ideas. Now to figure out which style I'd like. Long sleeves? 3/4 sleeves? White? Black? Decisions, decisions!
Oh, and can I please have your kitchen? ;)
