Garden Tuesday ~Wildflowers and Pussy Willow~

Pussy willow

Guess who went out at sunrise to capture a photo of her pussy willow?

White wild flowers

One year our next door neighbor bought one of those bags of wildflower seeds and threw them all over his wooded areas.  We are still reaping the benefits.  The wildflowers decided they liked our yard better.  I don’t know what this delicate white flower is, but I love it.  See the plants surrounding it?  Soon they will be covered in purple flowers and our beds become a sea of purple – again thanks to him.

Purple wildflowers

Here is one of the purple flowers just starting to open.  Our three nights of freezing temperatures slowed them down a bit.

Oak leaf hydrangea

The oakleaf hydrangea is waking up quite nicely.

Virginia Bluebells

It wouldn’t be spring without the sweet, delicate Virginia Bluebells.

How about you?  What does your garden look like this week?

Please join me for Garden Tuesday.

Pretty! It's been freezing here for 2 days, too; the only flowers we have are on the lecotho we just planted!
