If you are looking for a sweet feel-good book then look no further than The Wedding Bees: A Novel of Honey, Love, and Manners .
The main character of the book is Sugar Wallace a bee-keeper who basically ups and moves every year based on where her queen bee, Elizabeth the sixth wanders to on a map. She ends up in Alphabet City, Manhattan, where she sets up her beehive on the terrace, and proceeds to charm the motley crew of neighbors.
Sugar, is every bit as sweet as her name. She sets about to build a lovely city garden perfect for bees, and spreads all of her love and enthusiasm to her eccentric neighbors. When she meets, Theo, the chemistry is immediate, but as with most romances, it is not smooth sailing.
This is such a charming, sweet book. I enjoyed the characters, I enjoyed how open and sweet Sugar was. It's the kind of book that makes you want to be nicer to people.
