Welcome to the last Weekend Wine Review of 2014! I was going to do another review of one of the tasting rooms we visited during our California trip, but decided instead to do a wine that I wish we had been able to visit on our trip, but we did not make it to Lodi, California - home of Oak Ridge Wines.
3 Girls Cabernet Sauvignon, 2011, Lodi, California. Unfortunately I don't have purchase notes on this for some reason, so I don't know how much we paid, but knowing us it was probably $8-$20. You can get the 2012 3 Girls Cabernet Sauvignon (Affiliate link) at Amazon for $13.99. We say: fruit forward, deep berry flavors, black cherry, medium bodied, medium acidity. Sweet, but not overly sweet. Nice. Buy again: yes.

We're drinking well-chilled rose and pinot grigio around here 'cause it's too darn hot!

I forget about all my summer peeps! I'll toss in a occasional white through our winter!
