A review of Chelan Estate Reserve Red for Weekend Wine Reviews #280.
Chelan Estate Reserve Red, 2012, Columbia Valley, $30. We actually purchased this wine at the Chelan Estate Wine Tasting Room. I will be writing a review later of that tasting room, so I won't go into too much on it here. We really enjoyed it and the woman giving the tasting was especially nice. They say: Jet black color, blackberry, black cherry and expansive ripe fruit from the start to a very long finish. And with all this power and grace the 2012 Reserve Red has the smooth texture and balance we always seek so you can enjoy it now or cellar for many more years. 100% Stillwater Creek grapes. Blend: 80% Merlot, 20% Petit Verdot. We say: earthy, not too sweet or jammy. Complex and full bodied. Loved it!! Buy again: Yes.

So excited to have discovered your blog - I love wine 🙂 Did you take that photo? It's beautiful! I think it's so hard to take a good picture of a wine bottle but you nailed it.
