Blume Verdejo, Spain, 2014. Wine Insiders, $19.99. They say: Blume is sourced from Reuda, in the heart of the Iberian Peninsula. This picturesque area is home to long, cold winters, short springs and hot summers. Perfect climate combines with modern winemaking techniques to produce a bright wine with character. It's pale yellow with subtle golden hues. It flaunts juicy tangerine, orange peel, and white flowers, with a slight hint of fennel to add a touch of aroma. It tastes like freshly cut grass, pears, nuts, fennel and citrus. It is best served slightly cooler than room temperature, about 15 minutes in the freezer is about right. It's high acidity pairs well with shellfish, vegetables, and dishes with spice. We say: Crisp and tart pear with a bit of creamy vanilla. Soft floral. Very nice! Buy again: yes!

"It flaunts juicy tangerine". Seriously?! Last time I flaunted my juicy tangerine I had some explaining to do afterwards.
