Next time you are in the bookstore, find the book Cool Waters: 50 Refreshing, Healthy, Homemade Thirst Quenchers by Brian Preston-Campbell. On page 57, he has a recipe using fresh lavender leaves, sage leaves, chamomile flowers, peppermint leaves, and whole cloves to make a sachet and steep in water. It is called the Wind-Down. I don’t think this is considered an “official” cookbook!

I love this time of year when the lavender blooms (I’ve gotta get out and cut some to dry before it passes!) Thanks for the reminder and for sharing the gorgeous photo. xo
