Patchouli Outside
I'm back this week with some photos from the massive collection of to-be-edited cat photos. Like everything else in my life, I am feeling the need to get organized and pare down.
I don't know if I told you all, but I am retiring my Pamela Greer Photography business. For several reasons actually. One, my eye is still bothering me and I am having trouble seeing the back of the camera and two, I am opening up an Ebay shop!
My Ebay name is vs_vintage for Victor Street Vintage - the first house my husband I bought was on Victor Street in St. Louis. There is nothing out there yet, I hope to start listing some items next week.
I used to sell on Ebay back at the very beginning of Ebay. I sold vintage things that I found at estate sales and eventually started selling pillows that I made out of vintage fabric. I was doing quite well, but a family emergency happened and I had to stop and go back to teaching.
The problem is I still have tubs and tubs and more tubs of vintage fabric, trims and other sewing things. I also have a ton of vintage stuff that I've collected, either with the intention of selling it back then, or just because I liked it.
After my mother passed and we spent days and days going through her things, I decided I didn't want to put my children through that. So, in the whole Marie Kondo fashion, I want to pare down to only things that I really love.
Early Photos of Luxie and Coco
Just look at those early photos of Luxie and Coco! It's hard to believe Luxie was so tiny! She is now bigger than Coco, outweighs her and is a big, muscle-y girl!
That last photo is one of the earliest shots of Luxie, here are a few more of Kitten Luxie.
Edited this photo a Patchouli with Topaz labs plugin.

I was sure I commented earlier in the week so maybe it went to spam. Such beautiful photos, and I do like the one of Patchouli looking upwards.

I thought you had too, maybe I accidentally deleted it!

Your photography is so beautiful. You have a way with a camera.
Vintage is lovely, and I can understand the paring down part. We are doing that here. It's a job and a half with we hoard things we love.
Thank you for joining the Feline Friday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Feline Friday and weekend. ♥

Yes, it is such a job getting rid of all this stuff!

Love the kitty photos. Sorry you have to give up your photography business, but we wish you will with your new Ebay business.

Sorry to hear you're closing down your photography business, but your ebay venture sounds exciting. I love vintage so I will definitely check it out. Wishing you luck with it!
Luxie was so itty bitty. How cute! It has been forever since I've had a kitten that small. Great photos of all the girls.

I know she was crazy tiny!

Mom says she can't wait to visit your store when you have it up and running. She luvs vintage finds. Your iron bed made her smile, 'cause we have an old iron bed, too. I hope you continue to take lots of photos of Patchouli, Coco and Luxie, 'cause they are marvelous! Head rubs and cheek nuzzles.
Pam Greer says
I will let her know as soon as my shop is up and running!

Your photos are always so beautiful and today's are no exception. I love seeing Luxie as a kit, what a sweet little face. Best of luck on your eBay store, it sounds like the perfect shop for me.
Pam Greer says
You'll have to check it out once I get some things listed!

The second image of Patchouli is stunning and an unusual angle which we really love. We hope you do really well when you return to what you clearly liked doing for the vintage items. I do hope you will keep up your photography though, as you have a wonderful talent. I guess you will be taking images of your creations for ebay rather than for others, so maybe less pressure and more fun? I say that, but what could be more fun than us cats, right? 😉
Lots of best wishes
ERin
Pam Greer says
Thank you for all the well wishes! I will keep up with my photography, it'll just be personal.
