Take the delicious sweet drink that is Vietnamese Iced Coffee and turn it into a boozy treat with some homemade coffee liqueur (or Kahlua.)   Creamy and divine, it's the perfect way to have your coffee, cocktail and dessert!

2 glasses of boozy vietnamese iced coffee in front of a Christmas cactus.

    Spiked Vietnamese Iced Coffee

Even when I was little, coffee candy was one of my favorite candies.  I also loved to sneak sips of my Aunt's coffee, she loved it laced with plenty of sugar and cream.  Yum.

I usually drink my coffee black, but I can still appreciate a Vietnamese Iced Coffee every now and then.

Whenever I have a whole can of sweetened condensed milk, I make Vietnamese Coffee Ice Cream, if I have just some in a can to use up, I make iced coffee.

When I found myself with quite a bit left in a can the other day, I started to make an iced coffee.  Then, I paused and remembered my homemade Kahlua (coffee liqueur.)

With a nod to an Irish coffee, I created this boozy spiked Vietnamese iced coffee.  So good!

Coffee, coffee liqueur, and sweetened condensed milk to make a boozy Vietnamese Iced Coffee.

Ingredients for this Boozy Vietnamese Iced Coffee

You only need three ingredients to make this delicious boozy coffee cocktail!

Coffee - for this you want to use a strong brewed coffee.  I usually use a French Roast coffee.  You can make it even stronger by using special brewing methods, but I don't really find that necessary.

Coffee liqueur - use either store bought or homemade.

Sweetened condensed milk - gives it that creamy sweetness!

How to Make this Delicious Coffee Cocktail

Fill your glass with ice and then add 8 ounces of strong dark brewed coffee.

Adding coffee liqueur and sweetened condensed milk to make boozy Vietnamese Iced Coffee.

Add 1 ounce of coffee liqueur.

Spoon in two tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk, or more if you want it extra sweet and milky.

    Stir and enjoy!

Two glasses of boozy Vietnamese iced coffee.

This was so good!  It's a coffee, cocktail and dessert all in one!  If you don't want it boozy, just leave out the coffee liqueur.

The chocolate coffee dessert shots are so crazy easy to make and yet they look and taste fancy!  Perfect for a party or a get together!

How about a 3 ingredient Chocolate Coffee Martini with chocolate, coffee and vodka!

One of the easiest boozy desserts ever is an Affagato.   Coffee and coffee liqueur are poured over vanilla ice cream and topped with chocolate shavings!

I am not a coffee drinker, but I am sure my siblings would love this. They loved hot or cold coffee so much!

I love trying new recipes and just got back from Bali. There was a place where I had a similar tea but had no idea it was made with sweetened condensed milk. I made this recipe last night and it was just like it. So happy to have found this. Thank you!
